A range of affordable web design packages

Below you will find a description of our standard web design packages. Our packages range from a simple personal web page (or pages) up to high traffic eCommerce sites with content management and large databases. We offer the standard packages at standard prices. Each packages can be customized with various options, each with their own cost associated. If the packages below don't suit you, we can give you a custom quote for web site design, hosting and management. Whether you need more, or less than the standard packages offer, don't hesitate to contact us.

Sending your data

We accept data in various electronic format such as email, CD-ROM, DVD. We suggest that you use email for the fastest turn around times. We can also scan photographs mailed to us, which we then return. Scanning service prices vary with number of images, call us to find out. (Typically $10 per five or six images). We can create or source professionally created photography and clip-art for an additional charge. You can also make use of our photo touch up and photo restoration service.

Domain Names

We can register a domain name for you for no extra charge, but you need to pay for the name registration. We pass the 'cost' price for domain names on to you and no more. The services we use are probably the cheapest around for non-bulk registration. Alternatively, you may register your own domain name. In either case we provide DNS for your domain name at no extra charge.

Ongoing Support

We provide continuing support in 'blocks'. All packages come with a number of support blocks included as part of the basic price. All customers may purchase support blocks as and when they are needed. Support blocks are somewhat discounted for the more expensive packages.

Updates

A number of minor updates are allowed free each month, depending on the type of your package. What constitutes a something more than a 'minor' update depends on your particular site and package. e.g. we judge it relative to the type of site and package that you already have. If you have major updates in mind, contact us for a quote - we always try to be affordable.

Page Counts

The number of pages on your site is really less important than the effort that goes into each page. The page limits for each package are not hard limits, we will always bear in mind the content on your pages. If during development you request content or features that are likely to push the site beyond its original planned design and budget, we will inform you. Our goal is to make sure that you always know what you are paying for and what it is going to cost up front.

Personal Package (up to 5 pages)

We made the 'personal' package for someone who works self employed, perhaps only part-time, and would like an internet presence to provide more information to customers. You can say so much more on a web page than in a normal directory listing: show pictures of what you do, of maps of how to find your premises, and properly explain the details that make your services distinctive.

We design, build, host and administer your website. We help create a look for your site if you need one. You provide the text and you are free to provide your own artwork. We will provide the core design elements for the site unless you give us something you want us to work with. You pay an initial amount and then a yearly fee. Limited minor updates are included for free each year. More extensive updates can be purchased as needed. Five support blocks are included free.

• You can publish as much text as you like, up to 20 text links, and up to five photographs/images provided by you.
• We will perform design and construction of an individual site style, with your an original design of page heading graphic, guided by your suggestions.
• We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.
• The web based cPanel X Control Panel will allow you to review your site statistics and manage your email facility if you have one.
• The basic site costs $250, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $50.
• Additional options for this package (email or call for prices) include: photo gallery; blog facility; email facility; additional inside pages beyond the normal page count; elaborate graphics or animated effects for links; editing and proof-reading of text; large tables of links; elaborate page layouts; complex data tables; and serving of extremely large images.

Frequent Update Package (up to 10 pages)

The 'frequent update' package is for a home user or small business with data that changes regularly. This non-commerce site comes with a content management facility so that you can easily update the text and images on your site.

We design, build, host and administer your website. We help create a look for your site if you need one. You provide the text and you are free to provide your own artwork. We will provide the core design elements for the site unless you give us something you want us to work with. You pay an initial amount and then a yearly fee. Limited minor updates are included for free each year. More extensive updates can be purchased as needed. However, with this package you can do almost all of your own updates and may never need our help with them. Twelve support blocks are included free.

• We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.
• The web based cPanel X Control Panel will allow you to review your site statistics and manage your email facility if you have one.
• The basic site costs $650, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $175.
• Additional features (email or call for prices) include: photo gallery; blog facility; bulletin-board or forum system with user registration; input forms for users with basic back end processing facility; email facility; additional inside pages; elaborate graphics or animated effects for links; editing and proof-reading of text; large tables of links; elaborate page layouts; complex data tables; and serving of extremely large images.

Small Business Package (SMB Package) (up to 12 pages)

The SMB package is aimed at companies with a small office who do not require eCommerce facilities and who prefer to leave the tasks of creating and running their web site the hands of professionals. It provides a generous page allowance and a fully managed service.

We design, build, host and administer your website according to your requirements. You provide the text and you are free to provide you own artwork. We help create a professional look for your site, appropriate to your specific business. Support for forms is included (with basic backend processing). You pay an initial amount and then a yearly fee. A number of minor updates are included free each year. More extensive updates incur a processing fee. Eighteen support blocks are included as part of the package, and you may purchase more as and when you need them.

• You can publish as much text as you like, up to 50 text links, and up to fifteen photographs/images provided by you.
• We will perform design and construction of an individual site style, with your an original design of page heading graphics and menus, guided by your suggestions.
• We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.
• The web based cPanel X Control Panel will allow you to review your site statistics and manage your email facility if you have one.
• The basic site costs $720, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $230.
• Additional features (email or call for prices) include: photo gallery; blog facility; bulletin-board or forum system with user registration; email facility; newsletters with double opt in verification (requires an email facility); additional inside pages beyond the normal page count; elaborate graphics or animated effects for links; editing and proof-reading of text; large tables of links; elaborate page layouts; complex data tables; serving of extremely large images; and extensive search engine optimization.

eCommerce Package (up to 15 pages)

The eCommerce package is aimed directly at the small business that wants to do business online without extravagent startup costs. It is best suited to a business with a fairly static range of products that are reliably available. However, we can base a specialised availability management package off the standard eCommerce package - which would be particularly suited to hotels or boarding houses: businesses where the product doesn't change but availability does.

We design, build, host and administer your website according to your requirements. You provide the text and you are free to provide your own artwork. We help create a professional look for your site, appropriate to your eCommerce business.

A complete web shopping cart system is included as a standard part of this package. Support for additional forms is included (with basic backend processing), as well as the forms that relate to the shopping trolley. As with other packages, you pay an initial amount and then a yearly fee. A number of minor updates are included free each month.

An implementation of an 'off site', merchant account substitute, secure online payment system, such as 2CO or PayPal is included in the package. (You need to apply and pay for the service you require yourself, though we can provide support thoughout the process and will provide full instructions and checklist on request). The cost of an upgrade to a more expensive online payment solution takes account of the fact that you won't need us to implement this facility.

A number of updates/additions to your product list are included free each month, and you may purchase a block of additional product updates for a small fee whenever you require an unusual amounts of updates (these are not the same as support blocks). In addition, twenty-four support blocks are included as part of the package, and you may purchase more as and when you need them.

You get a fully featured email system with integrated spam filtering / spam blocking facility and up to 100 accounts. Using a simple to use graphical web control panel you can create or delete accounts, set up redirections, auto responses, and more. You can connect and read your mail using a choice of web interface or using a standard email program (such as Outlook or Thunderbird).

Note that eCommerce product-listing pages are dynamically generated and do not count towards your page count.

• You can publish as much text as you like, up to 50 text links, and up to fifteen photographs/images sourced by you.
• We will perform design and construction of an individual site style, with an original design of page heading graphics and menus, guided by your suggestions. For a commercial sales site we recommend that you opt for our additional artwork services, unless you have already bought professional artwork from somewhere else.
• We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.
• The web based cPanel X Control Panel will allow you to review your site statistics and manage your email facility, create email accounts, redirects, auto answers and more.
• The basic site costs $1450, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $450.
• Additional features (email or call for prices) include: secure site with on-site credit card verification system and online payment facility (requires a merchant account); off-site payment gateway such as protx (requires a merchant account); photo gallery systems; multiple blog facility; user registration and user database; bulletin-board or forum system integrated into user registration; newsletters with double opt in verification; additional inside pages beyond the normal page count; sourcing, preparation and inclusion of professionally generated images such as stock photos; elaborate graphic design styles or animated effects for links; editing and proof-reading of text; large tables of links; elaborate page layouts; complex data tables; serving of extremely large images; and extensive search engine optimization.

eCommerce Frequent Updates Package (up to 20 pages)

The eCommerce Frequent Updates package is for all businesses that want to sell a constantly varying range of products online. With this package you can change your product line up on a day to day basis without significant overhead.

We design, build, host and administer your website according to your requirements. You provide the text and you are free to provide your own artwork. We help create a professional look for your site, appropriate to your eCommerce business.

A content management system (CMS) is included as part of this package, allowing you to easily update your own site content. Using this system you can maintain your own product database and make as many changes as frequently as you like. You can also update other text on your site, allowing you to easily create 'deal of the day', news articles and other promotional features.

A complete web shopping cart system with integrated CMS is included as a standard part of this package. Support for additional user input forms is included (with basic backend processing), as well as the forms that relate to the shopping trolley. As with other packages, you pay an initial amount and then an annual fee.

An implementation of an 'off site', merchant account substitute, secure online payment system, such as 2CO or PayPal is included in the package. • We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.

• The basic site costs $3150, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $750.

Enterprise Package (up to 40 pages)

The enterprise package is for businesses that not only want to trade a wide range of continually varying products online, but who want to allow a large number of customers and employees easy access to significant amounts of online data. Bandwidth provisions assume heavy usage and the possibility of large downloads, video streaming and frequent generation of long search results. You may not be a 100+ employee company, but you can still expect the same level of service.

Your business already has a wealth of artwork and text material that you want to showcase as part of your web presence. We help get your data into the right format for web based delivery. We recreate the professional image that your business has already developed to design, build, host and maintain your website.

You are provided with a content management system (CMS) so that you can perform your own distributed updates to site content. You pay an initial fee and thereafter pay per year.

For an additional charge you can request additional options according to your needs. We encourage feature enquiries even if they are not on any of the lists of possible additional features.

A complete web shopping cart system with integrated CMS is included as a standard part of this package. Support for additional user input forms is included (with basic backend processing), as well as the forms that relate to the shopping trolley. As with other packages, you pay an initial amount and then an annual fee.

A substantial allowance of 480 support blocks is included as part of the package, and you may purchase additional blocks as and when you need them.

You get a fully featured email system with integrated spam filtering / spam blocking facility and up to 200 accounts. Additional email accounts are available for a small additional cost. Using a simple to use graphical web control panel you can create or delete accounts, set up redirections, auto responses, and more. You can connect and read your mail using a choice of web interface or using a standard email program (such as Outlook, Eudora or Thunderbird).

Note that eCommerce product-listing pages are dynamically generated and do not count towards your page count.

• You can publish as much text as you can fit on forty pages, with up to 150 text links, and up to fifty photographs/images that you have sourced. Of course, you can have more pages, links or images as an additional cost option. You can update your own content whenver necessary through the CMS.
• We will perform design and construction of an individual site style, with an original design of page heading graphics and menus, incorporating your corporate style, as well as your existing logos, and guided by your suggestions. We can prepare a new corporate look and logos if need be. We recommend that you opt for our additional artwork services, unless you have already sourced professional artwork from somewhere else, so that your site has an appropriate density of professional quality art and photographs.
• We will manage multiple domain names, and can if required build the site across several sub-domains.
• We will make your page search engine friendly, and ensure that your page is found by the major search engines.
• The web based cPanel X Control Panel will allow you to review your site statistics and manage your email facility, create email accounts, redirects, auto answers and more.
• The basic site costs $8550, which includes the first year's hosting, DNS and maintenance. Additional options may increase your initial and ongoing costs. The second year's hosting for the basic site, including DNS and maintenance, can be bought in advance at this year's price for $3720.
