We aren't in the volume computer business, and we don't claim to offer the cheapest office solutions. Actually, our computers are quite expensive. We think that with most things in life, you get what you pay for; if you go for the cheapest option then it's not going to be as good as some other, more expensive options. We try to offer systems that provide a bit more performance, a bit more reliability, or a bit more style than the norm. The systems we assemble are different.

Sadly, it's commonplace desktop computer marketing to combine very expensive over-specified processors with along with inadequate memory (or lots of memory and the wrong OS) so the CPU is stuck like a speedboat in a swimming pool. The end user still finds his computer is too slow, but the CPU cost a small fortune. You can end up wasting money and then sitting in an office full of droning cooling fans. We don't like that approach. Office systems should be small, smart and quiet. Many offices don't need much performance from their systems, so they shop for the cheapest budget machines. This seems like a saving until they find that half those machines die in the first year - putting a huge strain on the poor IT department that is continually installing and setting up new machines - never mind the lost hours of work for people whose computer is broken.

Reception Desk Style

If you put a lot of effort into decor for your reception area you could complement it with some new computer style that makes people complement you on your choice of computer. End the days of ugly beige boxes hidden away in cupboards and trailing keyboard cables.

That said, we don't sell servers as standalone products, only as part of some other package. We offer customers who want to run web sites, databases or backup servers in-house a complete service.
