Our Approach
Most computer shops build computer as cheaply as possible given the customer's specification. They are interested in volume, and they will often recommend components based on what they have in stock or can obtain cheaply; they don't always pass those savings on to the customer, but they usually do skimp on build time - because build time costs a lot of money and they don't get a volume discount on it - they have to do this if they want to undercut the competition's price.
Our approach is very different. We don't build computers in volume. Nobody builds the computers like we build in volume. Because we are low-volume, all parts are specially ordered, and we get exactly the parts that you need. We custom order cooling parts from the US and Europe. We recommend Mountain Mods hand-made cases, which we custom order from the US.
Because of our approach, we don't get big volume discounts, and for specialised parts we often have to buy at retail prices. We also put a lot of time, care and attention into builds. This means that our prices are often high. Furthermore, because of the time and care we put into our builds, it's not always possible for us to take your job, even if we'd like to, because of other commitments.
If you have some list of parts that you would like put together at a low price, don't call us for a quote, go to your local computer shop. We offer an in depth build consultancy service. We charge by the hour for it. If you already know exactly what you need, then once again, go to your local computer shop; they will give you a low price and you won't pay shipping.
High Performance Gaming Computers
NetInvent know computer games. We are PC and Console game developers, and we play games ourselves. We know where the bottlenecks are in games performance, and where to focus your efforts to get good FPS in games. If you want a top performing machine with Liquid Cooling, Peltier Cooling and the latest CPU (or CPUs) and graphics cards, we can do it. We can combine it with custom styling, or we can go for lean, mean performance. Great performing machines don't have to be noisy either.
LAN Party Computers
We can build small, portable LAN party machines, and we can give them a custom look if you want it. Small machines can still have great performance. Put and end to hauling a gigantic pile of equipment to LAN parties and get modern graphics performance too.
One of a Kind Custom Styles
We can add all the mods to your machine you want: case lighting, custom paintwork, transparent panels or anything you can think to ask for.
We can get unique custom paint jobs done to a standard that will really make your machine stand out in the crowd.
Cool and Quiet
Whether you want to be on the cutting edge or whether you don't, chances are you don't want a computer that sounds like a 747 warming up its engines. We always bear the volume level in mind when we build a computer. It's up to you how far you want us to take the pursuit of silence.
Home Media Computers
A computer can replace DVD player, television tuner and video recorder. With the right design you can have multiple channels at once: record two channels while you're watching recorded media. Combine it with top quality 7.1 24bit capable sound and you've got a perfect companion to home theatre systems.
Choose a system designed to blend in with AV units, or something a bit more iconic, it's up to you.
This line is pretty much defunct for us now: nowadays it's possible to buy great home media systems off-the-shelf, we suggest you look at the many systems available now, including Mac Mini systems.
